Step by Step

Paradise Country is a theme park located on the Gold Coast in the state of Queensland. By purchasing a ticket, you can enjoy an authentic rural experience, allowing visitors to get up close to farming life and interact with local wildlife. Here are some of the highlights:

  • Dingo Pup Encounters - A specially designed area to see dingoes, including pups, in their natural habitat. This Australian canid is a skilled predator and can survive in a wide variety of environments, from woodland to desert.
  • Stockman Show - A space dedicated to shepherds and their dogs who herd sheep with real skill.
  • Gold Panning - To discover how gold prospectors found the coveted nuggets. You'll have to sift through the water in search of the precious straws.
  • Tasmanian Devils - The home environment for Tasmanian Devils, the world's largest carnivorous marsupials. They are distinguished by their stocky build, short, rounded ears and thick black fur with white spots. They are also recognisable by their distinctive squeaks and grunts.
  • Stock Horse Arena - The show that pays homage to Australian cowboys. Known for their riding and cattle handling skills, they work mainly in the highlands and lowlands of the outback.
  • Koala encounters - Get up close and personal with these friendly marsupials. Don't worry, they are calm and gentle animals.

The fee also gives access to the kangaroo sanctuary and a ride on Shaun's tractor. The park also has a restaurant, bar and souvenir shop.

A great experience to get up close and personal with Australian wildlife. The animal sanctuaries allowed us to see koalas, kangaroos and many other animals in a safe and spacious environment.
