The excursion will be led by a local guide, who will tell you the history of each place visited, while you get to know points of interest such as:

  • Gruta do Amor: rock formation of great natural beauty that you will see during the boat trip to Praia do Farol.
  • Praia do Farol: a beautiful beach that can only be accessed by sea. It is surrounded by mountains, the water is turquoise and crystal clear and the beach is white sand.
  • Prainhas do Pontal do Atalaia: beautiful white sandy beach with crystal clear waters perfect for a good swim.
  • Crevice of Our Lady of Assumption: it is an image of the statue of the Virgin of Our Ladyof Assumption, located in a crevice between rocks and considered as the protector of the city. According to legend, if a couple kisses in front of it, it perpetuates their love forever.
  • Praia do Forno: This beach offers a wonderful natural setting with the colourful water of the cove, the white sandy area and the lush vegetation that surrounds it. Climb up to the lookout point for a beautiful panoramic view of the city.
