This impressive mansion is located in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, on the French Côte d'Azur, and was built in the early 20th century by Baroness Beatrice de Rothschild, a woman of high society who was also an art collector. A member of the prominent Rothschild family, known for their wealth and influence in European finance and politics, Beatrice was known for her extravagant lifestyle.
This was reflected in this mansion which is known for its opulent architecture and decoration, inspired by the Italian Renaissance. Inside you will see luxurious furniture, tapestries and works of art, as well as an impressive collection of porcelain.
Beatrice was also a skilled horticulturist and created several impressive gardens around her various estates. You will therefore have time to relax and visit the gardens of the Villa Ephrussi.
This international garden is laid out in nine separate terraces, each with its own theme and style. Some of the most outstanding gardens are the Spanish Garden, the French Garden or the Japanese Garden.
