Step by Step
Enjoy tickets to the Conciergerie de Paris, an iconic French Gothic-style monument steeped in history and located on the banks of the River Seine.
Travel back in time and see what the opulent palace was like until its transformation into a dreaded prison. Some of the points of interest you will see are:
- Former cells of the French Revolution: including the cell of Queen Marie Antoinette, which later became a famous chapel.
- Salle des Gens d'Armes: see the majesty and walk the corridors of the largest medieval hall in Europe.
- Bonbec Tower: torture chamber where prisoners were forced to confess. Its name comes from the sounds or pronunciations made by the prisoners at this crude moment ("bon" means "good" and "bec" means "mouth").
And that's not all! During the tour you can enjoy the augmented reality tool called the Histopad, which provides an immersive experience to travel back in time through medieval and revolutionary rooms.
