How does the Dublin Explorer Pass work?

The pass is very simple to use. When you make your booking you will receive a digital version of the pass and instructions on how to use it by email. You can carry it on your phone or, if you prefer, print it out. You will also have the option of downloading the mobile application that will be specified on the booking voucher and from there you can access the complete list of attractions included, manage your reservations and have all the information you need to enjoy your pass at your fingertips.

How do I activate the pass?

You have up to 2 years from the date of purchase to activate your pass by using it for the first time at one of the included attractions. Once activated, you have 60 days to visit the number of attractions you have chosen.

What are the benefits of the pass?

It's the perfect way to explore Dublin city and enjoy its top attractions. With the Dublin Explorer Pass, you can access a wide selection of over 40 attractions and activities and opt for a 3, 4, 5 or 7 attraction pass, giving you the flexibility to tailor your sightseeing experience to suit your preferences.

Are there any attractions that require advance booking?

You do not have to confirm in advance which attractions you will visit, but you should be aware that some places require advance booking. You can make a reservation through the app by following the instructions that you will receive after making your reservation.

Do children need a pass?

Children under the age of 5 get free entry to most attractions and therefore do not need to purchase a pass.
