This day trip will take you and your expert local guide to some of Ireland' s most treasured folklore destinations from Dublin. For 1 day you will head south to County Wicklow, known as the "Garden of Ireland". Here you will enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery, green valleys and picturesque lakes.
You will stop at the famous Sally Gap Bridge, an iconic location that has been the setting for numerous films and TV series, from Braveheart to Vikings. You'll also have the opportunity to visit Glendalough Monastery, a place of great historical significance and natural beauty.
After exploring Wicklow, you will head to Kilkenny, a charming medieval town. Here you can visit Kilkenny Castle, a fortress dating back to the 12th century, to tour its halls and learn about the rich history of this place. You will also have free time to explore the picturesque streets of Kilkenny and enjoy the lively cultural life of the city.
During the tour you will visit Laragh, a picturesque Irish sheep farm. There you will see the collie dogs at work in a live demonstration in the countryside. You will meet the local workers and have the opportunity to meet the local lambs and animals.
