Step by Step
Leave Florence and visit the cities of Pisa and Lucca which belong to the Italian Tuscany area. The tour lasts one day, about 9 hours in total, so you will make the most of your time. In addition, all transfers, by air-conditioned bus, are included throughout the tour. These journeys will be accompanied by recorded audio commentary so that you can learn before you even get to the cities.
The tour has 2 types of options when booking, an economy plan, and a full plan.
The economy plan includes:
- All the necessary travel throughout the tour.
- A tasting of the traditional Buccellato cake.
While the full plan includes everything in the economy plan, but also:
- 2 professionally guided tours, one in Pisa and one in Lucca.
- Entrance to Pisa Cathedral
However, no matter which of the two options you choose, these visits to both places are worthwhile.
On the one hand, in Pisa you will be able to visit important monuments such as the Leaning Tower of Pisa, which has been declared a World Heritage Site. But Pisa is much more than the tower, you can also learn about the history of the Piazza dei Miracoli, the central and most important square of the city. Not to mention the great Cathedral of Pisa, which has a lot to offer just from the outside.
On the other hand, you will also visit the city of Lucca, one of the most hidden gems of Tuscany. The central square and the Cathedral of Lucca are not to be missed here either, but what you cannot miss is the traditional Buccellato cake that you will be able to savour.
