• Basilica: The Basilica of Pompeii was the seat of the administration of justice and, together with the Forum, was the most important building in the city.

• Temple of Apollo: This temple was located in an area enclosed by 48 columns and worshipped the Greek deity Apollo, whose cult had been widespread in the region for centuries. Among other things, Apollo was known as the god of the sun.
