Specifically, the Pantheon is the best preserved temple in Rome and also contains the tomb of Raphael Sanzio, one of the great heroes of the Renaissance. Originally the Pantheon was a pagan temple, but in 608 it was converted into a Christian church and in the 20th century it housed the tombs of the kings of Italy.

On the other hand, the church of Santa Maria Sopra Minerva is of great importance as it contains the tombs of 5 Popes, including two members of the Florence Medici family. During your visit to this church you will also see marble worksby Michelangelo and Bernini, as well as paintings by Pilippino Lippi. In addition, next to the church you will walk through the house of the Dominicans where the scientist Galileo was tried in the 17th century.

In both monuments you will find stories from different eras that will give you an insight into the changes that took place in the city over the years. In addition, you will also see works of art by emblematic and world-famous artists.

We would have liked the tour to be a little longer, we felt that the time went by very quickly. But we are still very happy, it was a great experience.

These tours always bring a smile to my face. I went with my family and the five of us came back more than happy to have seen a place like the Pantheon, accompanied by the guide who told us incredible stories that we had never heard before.
