Explore the architectural and artisticwonders of Vatican City on this three-hour tour, which will take you to the most emblematic sites of the holy seat of the Catholic Church on a guided tour, exclusively for you and your group.
An expert guide will tell you the history of sites such as the imposing St. Peter's Square, an apotheosic monument of 284 columns and 88 pilasters, among which stand more than 100 statues sculpted in honour of the saints of Catholicism, and a 25-metre high obelisk.
You will have the opportunity to enter St. Peter's Basilica, the church of choice for the pope's services. It was built between 1500 and 1600, where the remains of St. Peter the Apostle himself rest.
It has the capacity to receive about 20,000 faithful and its interior exhibits priceless works of art by artists such as Gian Lorenzo Bernini and Michelangelo.
You will see the famous Sistine Chapel, where you can admire impressive frescoes. They feature an interpretation of the book of Revelation from the Bible, with wall decorations dating back to the 15th century.
Strolling through the Vatican Museums, you will witness the art collection of the Catholic Church. It includes relics such as the Codex Vaticanus manuscripts and the Scroll of Joshua, among a wide range of works from the 1st and 2nd centuries BC that are in excellent condition.
