How does the Roma Pass work?

The way it works is simple. Once you have booked, you have to exchange your voucher for a pass in card format at one of the following tourist centres, where they will also answer your questions and help you with the booking process for the attractions that require it:

  • Via Marco Minghetti, on the corner with Via del Corso: 09:30 - 19:00
  • Via dei Fori Imperiali Visitor's Centre: 09:30 - 19:00
  • Castel Sant'Angelo, Piazza Pia: 09:30 - 19:00
  • Fiumicino Airport - International Arrivals Terminal T3
  • Ciampino Airport - Outside the Arrivals Area

Once you have it, the Roma Pass is activated on your first entry to museums/sites or on your first journey by public transport. In addition, the card entitles you to use the network of public toilets at P.Stop. They are clean and located throughout the Old Town. This card is designed for all ages, but many monuments and tourist attractions have additional discounts for children, and in Rome children under 10 years old are free on public transport.
