Located in the heart of Venice, built in 1792 in neoclassical style, the opera house La Fenice was a private theatre where theatrical and operatic performances were staged. It also enjoyed being a meeting place for Venice's cultural elite. The famous theatre, although destroyed by fire in 1863, rose from the ashes. Hence the name "La Fenice". Phoenix in Italian, a very appropriate nickname for this icon that has risen twice from the ashes. And which has been active since 2003.

Now restored to its 18th century glory, the famous opera house boasts an impressive interior that is well worth seeing. In groups of around 20 people you will explore the interior of this opera house consisting of five galleries. Marvel at the luxuriously elegant baroque décor, the royal box and detailed wooden balconies.
