San Blas Islands Day Trip from Panama City

Enjoy a day of sun, beach and water sports with this excursion to the islands of San Blas from Panama City. Join this boat trip to the islands of Waily, Pelican and Perro in small groups of around 20 people and relax on the beaches and soak up the sun. Explore small palm islands, find one of the best reefs for snorkelling , and enjoy swimming in the natural pools or paddle boarding a kayak or paddle board. With an early morning pick up from your hotel, you will travel in a 4x4 Jeep for a couple of hours to the port of San Blas. Once in port, you will board a boat and enjoy a beautiful boat trip to the first of the islands.

Your first stop will be Waily Lodge Island, which includes beautiful private cabins to stay in. Sit down for a light breakfast and then have a snack or appetizer for lunch . After this delicious meal, head to the white sandy beaches and opt to sunbathe on one of the sun loungers, with an umbrella and towels available. Or if you prefer, explore the crystal clear waters with snorkelling equipment and kayaks .

Next you'll head to Pelican Island, a true Panamanian paradise made famous by the Spanish TV series "La Casa de Papel". Spend a few minutes on this small island and have a drink at the beach bar while admiring the incredible tropical scenery.

Then grab your paddleboards and snorkelling gear and paddle over to the island of Ucubusi, where you'll see one of the best reefs for snorkelling. Dive into the crystal clear waters, explore the beautiful marine life and marvel at the variety of colourful fish species .

Continue your journey to Dog Island and snorkel around a sunken ship full of tiny fish. During this tour you'll also visit a natural pool, where you'll see an abundance of starfish, as well as learn about the Guna community and their indigenous culture. Finally, you will sail back to the harbour and return to your Panama City hotel in the evening.
