Northern Madeira 4x4 and Porto Muniz Pools Day Trip

Thanks to this reservation, you will have the opportunity to go on a 4x4 vehicle excursion through the north of Madeira and the Porto Moniz Pools. In an activity that lasts approximately eight hours and in groups of about 15 people, a professional guide will accompany you and teach you about the history and origin of this island and its wonderful landscapes. Transport to and from your hotel is also included.

Madeira is famous for the wine that bears its name and that, nowadays, is produced in several varieties. As a curiosity, the island's vineyards were once managed by Jesuit priests.

You will hear this history and many more details during your visit to the wonderful vineyards of São Vicente. This is also a great place to visit if you like geology. The Volcanic Caves offer a magnificent presentation showing how the island was formed and the type of rock formations and minerals present on Madeira.

In the north of the island you will come across what is a surprise for many tourists: Paul da Serra. This is a plateau populated by cows, sheep and goats with an unspoilt landscape.

Another experience that will stick in your memory is a visit to the swimming pools of Porto Moniz. It is an attraction for thousands of national and foreign tourists, and not only stands out for its beauty and peculiar origin, but also for its magnificent conditions.
