You will visit the Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba, which in 1882 was declared a site of cultural interest and historical heritage of Spain. In 2019, the Mosque broke an all-time record, receiving more than 2 million visitors, making it one of the most visited monuments in Spain.
The building was built in 786, during the Muslim rule of the city. For centuries it was the second largest mosque in the world, second only to the Mecca Mosque, until 1588, when it was surpassed by the Blue Mosque in Istanbul.
