Step by Step
Enjoy this ticket to the Alfabia Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Mallorca. You will have access to the house and botanical gardens, one of the best preserved and most beautiful in the city of the Balearic Islands.
Alfabia is an ensemble of house, garden and orchard that is located in the middle of the Tramuntana Mountains and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2011.
This house has a magnificent history materialised in different architectural elements. A former Arab governor lived here, so water is one of the main motifs you will see, with a large fountain inside. But it also has Gothic and Baroque elements, incorporated in its last refurbishment in the 18th century.
But what stands out most is undoubtedly its botanical garden. It has a clear influence of English landscaping with an avenue that takes you to a courtyard typical of upper-class Mallorcan country houses.
You will also have the opportunity to stroll through the so-called Jardinet de la Reina (Queen's Garden), which was created on the occasion of Queen Isabel II's stay in Alfabia, with a beautiful pond with water lilies and a wide variety of palm trees, including native species such as palmettos.
