Step by Step

Embark on a journey into the heart of the English countryside, exploring the beauty of the Cotswolds on a scenic drive from Birmingham. With its rolling hills, cobbled streets and golden stone houses, this region has been a source of inspiration for artists and writers for centuries.

The first stop will be Burford, a small medieval town that has retained its essence over the years. You'll have time to stroll along its historic high street, visit the local church (if there are no ceremonies in progress) and admire its 500-year-old buildings.

Continue to Bibury, known as "the prettiest village in England". Here you'll find Arlington Row, one of the most photographed streets in the country, which has even been featured in films such as Stardust. Walk along the river and enjoy some free time to explore this idyllic village.

Your third stop will be Bourton-on-the-Water, a charming village on the River Windrush, famous for its small stone bridges. Here you can stroll around, have lunch and visit the Cotswold Toy and Car Museum, the Model Village or Birdland Park & Gardens (entrance fees not included).

You'll end the tour in Stow-on-the-Wold, a village full of charming courtyards, antique shops and cosy cafes. This place, with centuries of trading history, was also the scene of the last battle of the English Civil War in 1646 and is home to the oldest pub in England.
