A naturalist guide will explain the natural ecosystem that surrounds you in Chugach State Park, where you will do this experience. You will be provided with trekking poles and snacks along the way.

Chugach State Park is a large wilderness area east of Anchorage, considered the third largest state park in the United States. One of the many activities the park offers is hiking and wildlife viewing.

For example, on this hiking experience, you'll see that there are more than 250 kilometres, ranging from easy strolls to challenging backcountry trails. Although the vast majority are fairly flat, making them more accessible for travellers. Some of the most popular hiking trails in the park include the Flattop Mountain Trail, Eagle River Trail and Crow Pass Trail.

During these trails you can also observe the wildlife in the park, which is home to a variety of wild animals such as moose, black bears, grizzly bears, wolves and bald eagles. Visitors can observe these animals in their natural habitat and learn about their behaviour from the guide.
