Step by Step
This Segway tour of Atlanta gives you the opportunity to have an unforgettable experience as you tour the city's most important sights on an electric two-wheeled vehicle. The Segway is ultra-lightweight and moves at your own pace.
You will ride, in small groups of approximately 16 people, through the iconic streets of this metropolis with a professional guide who is an expert in the history of the city, to see must-see sites, including:
- Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park: this 15-hectare park honours the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. His childhood home and tomb are located here.
- Inman Park: Atlanta's oldest suburb. Here you'll find a variety of bars, restaurants and beautiful Victorian-era homes that still retain their classic style.
- Jackson Street Bridge: visit Atlanta's favourite bridge for a picture of the Atlanta skyline, with its typical skyline of buildings and skyscrapers in the background.
- Forward Warrior: marvel at the street-art laden mural that stretches for about half a mile in the Cabbagetown neighbourhood
You'll take a fun and liberating tour of the Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Trail- defunct railway tracks transformed into walking, running, biking, rollerblading and even horseback riding trails where locals enjoy their everyday urban life.
You'll also explore the Krog Street Market, founded in 1920. Here you'll have the opportunity to sample some local gastronomic delights (tasting not included) and get an insight into the culture of the city.
