Step by Step
This Biscayne Bay cruise will give you the opportunity to admire the Miami skyline and the islands that dot it. The cruise lasts about 80 minutes and during the route you will be able to see the highlights of the city on the shores:
- Venetian Islands: A small archipelago made up of six islets. Di Lido, San Marco, Rivo Alto, Biscayne, San Marino and Belle Isle. During the cruise you will see beautiful villas with private docks and the Venetian Causeway Bridge.
- Port of Miami: The economic engine of the region. It is the largest cruise port in the world. It is huge, occupies an entire island, and has unparalleled passenger traffic. This is also the commercial part of the port, recognisable by the cranes that line the horizon.
- Flagler Memorial Island: An artificial island built in the 1920s. Its landmark is the 33-metre high obelisk embellished with four allegorical sculptures. It is a tribute to pioneer Henry M. Flagler who died in 1913.
- Star Island: Built in the early 1920s, it's now the ultimate retreat for American stars. There's plenty of privacy but you're sure to be able to see their mansions from the water.
- Jungle Island: A zoological park that is home to some of the world's rarest and most exotic animals: capybaras, lemurs, giant tortoises, sloths and other species live among nature on this island.
- Fisher Island: A very exclusive community. Only a few families live permanently on the island, while most people spend a few months of the year here, mostly in summer. It is home to several luxury attractions: the magnificent Villa Vanderbilt, the golf course, the beach club, the hotels overlooking the sea and the renowned tennis centre.
In addition to the scenery, you can see some of the animals that live in the warm waters of the bay. Manatees and dolphins can be spotted from the boat.
