Step by Step

This bus tour of New Orleans is the ideal way to get to know the city in a short time. You'll pass by the city's landmarks in a tour lasting approximately two hours.

You will ride in a comfortable air-conditioned bus, driven by a driver who will also be your expert guide and will narrate the transcendental events that marked the history of the "Big Easy", as this legendary destination in the United States is known.

You will embark on a journey of discovery through the metropolis, the birthplace of jazz in the country, where you will have the opportunity to visit places such as:

  • Garden District: you will visit the upscale neighbourhood of New Orleans, where you will be able to admire the apotheosic mansions, oak trees and lush gardens that offer one of the most beautiful landscapes of the city.
  • Tremé: this neighbourhood is credited with the birth of jazz, which is evident in Armstrong Park, with statues dedicated to Louis Armstrong and other jazz greats.
  • French Quarter: perhaps the most iconic place in the city, where monuments such as the Cabildo, Jackson Square and St. Louis Cathedral are concentrated.
  • St. Louis Cemetery: stop by the cemetery and discover why in New Orleans the graves are above ground rather than underground.
  • City Park: This is home to the impressive New Orleans Museum of Art. It is a huge area for social gatherings and massive musical performances.
  • Lake Pontchartrain: you will see the largest brackish water lake in the state of Louisiana and the second largest in the United States.

The tour also includes transfer to and from selected New Orleans hotels, which you can check at the time of booking.

Very nice tour, lots of interesting information about the history of New Orleans and the neighbourhoods you see are really beautiful. The price seems a little high, but it is worth paying for the experience.
