Experience Highlights

Conquer the New York skyline King Kong style and climb to the main observation deck of the legendary Empire State Building. You won't have to climb up the building or reach the antenna like the great gorilla did to defend himself from those who wanted to hunt him, but the spectacular views from the king of the city's skyscrapers will leave you astonished and with your adrenaline pumping.

This ticket gives you access to the observation deck on the 86th floor. The building' s lift will take you there in less than a minute. When you buy your ticket you can choose between general admission or skip-the-line (express access).

  • See the New York skyline by climbing the Empire State Building at the time of your choice. Would you like to go up in daylight so you don't miss out on the views or are you more of a skyscraper-viewer, or do you prefer to see the skyline lit up with the other skyscrapers in the background?
  • If you're short on time, choose the "Express Access" option and go straight to the Empire State Building without waiting in line.
  • Feel the Big Apple at your feet from the 360º platform on the 86th floor. Its large terrace will test your vertigo and the panoramic view from there is a real spectacle.
  • Your ticket includes access to the museum on the 2nd floor where you will discover the history of the Empire State Building in its permanent exhibition.

What’s included

  • Access to the 86th floor
  • Access to the museum on the first floor
  • Queue-free access if the express option is chosen

Step by Step

It is not the only one, nor the tallest, but it is the most beloved by New Yorkers. The Empire State Building is, without a doubt, the most iconic skyscraper in the world. Not only is it the most photographed building (and it's sure to be part of your photo gallery on your trip to NYC), but climbing to the top will make you feel like you've crowned the city of skyscrapers.

From the Empire State Building's 360º observation deck on the 86th floor of the tower, you'll be able to feel that symbol of strength that identifies the city's culture. This is the building's main observation deck, but there is another one on the 102nd floor: you can buy access at the box office for an additional cost.

Hold your breath as you take one of the ultra-fast lifts up, and when you reach the open-air terrace... Voila, New York at your feet! Choose the time of day you prefer: either during the day to gaze out over the city's skyline or at sunset to admire the illuminated skyline.

Oh, and when you book your tickets, you can also choose the express option to avoid the queues... total flexibility so you can control your time and your budget. And speaking of budget: if you are travelling with children under the age of five, you don't have to buy them a ticket because they get in for free.

But what are you really going to see from the Empire State Building? To the south, you'll be amazed by the iconic One World Trade Center, the financial district or even the majestic Statue of Liberty in the background. To the north, the lush Central Park, the Hudson River and other giants such as the Chrysler Building and Rockefeller Center. Wherever you look, you will see the metropolis from a unique perspective.

On your way to the New York skyline, make a stop on your way: visit the Empire State Museum on the 2nd floor included in your ticket. Learn about the history of its construction, what life was like in the city in the 1930s, the speed at which its 102 floors were erected and why the building was crowned with the iconic flagpole (yes, that little antenna that in the hands of the great King Kong looked tiny...).

Now, get ready for a fascinating experience from the top of New York's flagship skyscraper.
