Step by Step
In this activity you will have the opportunity, for about 2 hours, to explore the Upper Antelope Canyon, one of the two sections of the Antelope X Canyon. This canyon is one of the most important geological formations in the United States, and is characterised by its unique rock formations, which have been created as a result of erosion caused by the action of wind and water over the centuries.
Throughout the tour, you will explore the canyon while learning about its history and geology from your expert Navajo guide. The Navajo Indians are the original inhabitants of Antelope Canyon, and are today a people living on the Navajo Reservation, which occupies parts of Arizona, New Mexico and Utah.
This Native American Indian people have more than 600 years of history and are known for their traditional crafts, songs and dances associated with religious ceremonies. The Navajo are the only authorised guides in Antelope Canyon, so you'll also get a cultural perspective on the experience.
In addition to the breathtaking views, you will be able to take spectacular photos of the canyon with the help of your guide, who will provide you with information about the best places and angles to capture the beauty of the scenery with your camera.
The activity will be done in a small group of no more than 15 travellers, which will ensure that you can enjoy a relaxed and intimate experience. The upper section of the canyon is only open between the months of March and October, as during the rest of the year, this section of the canyon is flooded due to torrential rains in the area.
If you have the opportunity to visit the canyon during the months when the upper section is open, come and enjoy the canyon's scenery and spectacular photos to show off to family and friends, an activity full of nature and exploration, ideal for adventure lovers.
