This exciting walking tour of San Francisco will take you to explore the vibrant Castro and Mission neighbourhoods . In small groups of 8-12 people, an expert guide will take you through the most fascinating areas of these two neighbourhoods.
This tour, which lasts approximately 4 hours, will start from the famous El Castro district. Here, your guide will take you to see iconic landmarks such as the Castro Theatre and Harvey Milk Plaza, named after its first gay mayor, Harney Milk. Not only will you learn about the importance of this neighbourhood in the city's history, but you'll also learn about the struggle for LGTBQ+ rights.
After exploring the El Castro neighbourhood, you'll head to the colourful Latino neighbourhood of the Mission . Here you'll see streets filled with murals and street art, as well as local shops, restaurants and beautiful pastel Victorian houses .
