This non-stop sightseeing tram tour of Arlington National Cemetery will take you on a historical journey through the military culture of the United States as you visit the graves of soldiers who have participated in wars and armed conflicts since the 19th century, buried here.
As you board the vehicle, you will learn the history of the site from a professional English-speaking guide in an exploration of approximately 30 minutes if you do it all in one stop. If you prefer, you can hop off and on at the cemetery's various memorial stations, including the following:
- President John F. Kennedy's Tomb: President Kennedy's remains are interred in this cemetery. In his honour, the Eternal Flame monument was created.
- Arboretum and Horticulture Memorial: amidst towering trees, ornamental plants and rolling green hills, this memorial pays tribute to the fallen soldiers of various wars.
- Tomb of the Unknown Soldier: in 2021 this monument, the most iconic in the cemetery, turned 100 years old. It is the grave of an unidentified soldier from the First World War.
