Step by Step
This itinerary lasts about 8 hours and the destination is the famous Amalfi Coast. You will depart from Naples in a comfortable vehicle to reach different points of its particular coast. You will be able to choose several options to adapt the excursion to your preferences. You can join a group of around 20 people accompanied by a guide or you can opt for a private excursion. In the private options, you can have just a driver or add the services of a guide if you are a group of more than 7 people.
Whichever you choose, you will visit the following emblematic spots of the Amalfi Coast and have free time to explore at your own pace:
- Positano - Known for the church of Santa Maria Assunta (with its dome covered in colourful majolica tiles), the Marina Grande beach and the many bars and restaurants in the centre.
- Amalfi - The town that gives its name to this stretch of coastline. Worth a visit are the Cathedral of Sant'Andrea (ticket must be purchased separately), the picturesque Valle dei Mulini and the Arsenal, where the ships of the maritime republic of Amalfi were built. If you wish, you can also take a boat trip for an extra charge.
- Ravello - A charming village known for its beautiful sea views, the stately villas and the music and culture festival held every summer. In the historic centre you can buy local specialities such as ceramics or limoncello. If you wish to enter Villa Rufolo, you will have to pay a supplement.
The Amalfi Coast is characterised by ramps, stairs and houses clinging to the hills. It is advisable to wear comfortable clothes and shoes. In summer, a hat and sunscreen are recommended.
