Admire this equestrian show in Jerez , which you can access with this booking. In an activity that lasts around three and a half hours and in a group, you will also have the opportunity to see the city with a professional guide. At the Royal School of Equestrian Art of Andalusia you will see the horses choreograph to music, a show that will amaze everyone.

Jerez, in the province of Cadiz, is situated on the left bank of the Guadalete river and offers a rich variety of reliefs and landscapes, as well as monuments. Thanks to the guide who will accompany you, an expert in Art History, he will explain the places of interest you will see in this area, which was intensely Romanised.

Some of these places are:

  • Alcázar de Jerez: it is an old Arab fortress, today converted into a park, and declared a Site of Cultural Interest in 1931. It is one of the few structures that best exemplifies Almohad architecture in the Iberian Peninsula.
  • Church of San Miguel: built at the end of the 15th century, this church was commissioned by the Catholic Monarchs when they visited the city in 1484. It combines Gothic elements with others from the early Renaissance and Baroque periods.
  • Plaza del Arenal: this is the city's main square, which in ancient times was the scene of duels.

As for the equestrian show you will see, it is a real ballet with horses and Spanish music. You'll see the riders dressed in 18th-century costume.

This live show features purebred Spanish horses, which were the most highly prized in Europe for several centuries.

I really enjoyed the excursion and the walk through Jerez. I didn't know that there was so much history behind it. It is very good to make these excursions, one is more ignorant than I thought.
