Step by Step

In this guided activity you will have the opportunity, for about 3 hours, to familiarise yourself with the circumstances and scenario leading up to the assassination of John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963.

You will visit the Sixth Floor Museum in Dealey Plaza, which exhibits the life, times, death and legacy of JFK in the context of American history. The museum owes its name to the fact that it is believed that it was from here that Harvey Lee Oswald fired the two shots that killed the president. However, more than half a century later, the assassination of President Kennedy remains one of the most disputed and unsolved mysteries of the present day .

From the top of the building, you will be able to see Grassy Knoll, the place where Kennedy was shot, and the memorial erected in his honour. Afterwards, you will be picked up and taken by car, reenacting the president's last car ride. The tour also includes the John F. Kennedy Memorial Plaza, which has become an icon of the city of Dallas, and a visit to Oswald's home. Here, it is believed that JFK's alleged assassin also killed J.D. Tippit, a Dallas police officer who died trying to stop him.

After visiting Oswald's house, you will stop at the historic Texas Movie Theatre in Oak Cliffe, where, thanks to a tip-off from a ticket agent, police located and arrested Oswald .

At the end of the tour, you will return to the original starting point.
